Name one specific thing that you absolutely adore about your horse(s), or the horse you ride :)

Mine?
Putts has the most amazing canter in the world, I think. It's smooth, relaxed, and so easy to sit!
Star has the sweetest disposition, so she's naturally well mannered & easy to get along with :)

Eli - He'll do pretty much anything for me :) (just not for anyone else, weird I know.)

Jedda- She's pretty much the fastest 20 year old I've ever ridden (she beat a 10 year old ex race horse while I was holding her back)

Charlie- same thing even after being gone so long as soon as i step foot in the barn for the first time in 6 months, a year, whatever he goes crazy, nickering and wanting to go out. and he gives me his all

I like the idea for this thread! For Reily it would be his attitude. He reminds me a lot of myself and while sometimes that's frustrating (such as being stubborn) most of the time it works out perfect. He is also one of the few horse s I really trust to look out for me and himself while using his brain to make decisions not act on impulse. if treated right he will give his rider his all at whatever the task may be. And he's same enough to put up with all the craziness I like to try :) I'm so lucky to have a horse like him, but sometimes I forget that looking at expensive show horses.

Well I love lots of things about Toddy But one of them is his speed when he wants to be. some times he can be a right plod even out hacking but you put him in a field preferably with long grass he is Of and if you cant stop him you just have to take him in circles till he does. He only has little legs as he is Connemara x welsh Cob cross welsh c and he beat a long legged 16.3 who is Very fast! :):D:p

Snickers. Well, his whole personality and existance. :D But, if going more specific, then I absolutely adore how playful he is. Always ready for fun.

Well neither are truly mine but I think they should be included
-Chester he has a cheeky personality on his first day at the yard he found a new play toy... some rugs
-Simba even though he is 20 and he will be retiring from the riding school soon he still puts his heart into everything and when he is on a hack he gives the younger horses a run for their money

For Enzo, I adore how willing is and how excited he gets when he is learning. It's so freaking cute that even when we're doing dressage (his least favorite thing, but the thing we do most) he still has "pep in his step" and an an attentive "can-do" attitude.

Also, to break the rules a bit, I adore it when Enzo greets me everytime I see him.

I love my horse's brain. He thinks and sometimes over thinks but definitely never the other way! He problem solves and visibly tries to figure out what I want and when all else fails he still wants to make me say "Good boy" and offers other things.

I didn't ride my horse for 5 1/2 months and lunged him and rode him and he didn't do anything bad (not even a single buck on the lunge line!) He had only had about a year of riding on him too so its not like he has been ridden for 10+ years. That's one thing I love about ny horse :)

Jack is always a loving horse. He just wants to be with you. He has horse friends but he would rather be with me. He's pretty willing to do just about anything, sometimes a little hesitant but we can convince him..
Leon is just a lot of fun. We haven't ridden too much in the past year because he's so young but he has so much personality. We have such a great bond already, I can only imagine how much stronger it will be once we start really riding!

I'm absolutely in love with annies versatility. She'll walk a trail all day long, chase a hog, freeze when I'm shooting a gator, she'll run a pattern (not fast, or well, but she does it. She's just so awkward built for goin in little circles too fast.) She'll round out and give me a beautiful perfect hunter flat round, carry me over fences without question (including the ones that get in the way of the good trails ;)) she'll pull a small truck(or get it out of the mud), drag a carcass, show off for a parade, stand at attention for runnin flags, ****. I feel like I've done so much with her now, and I'm sure there are things I'm not remembering right now. She's just smart, and adventurous and I love her for it :)

Mr. Big Stuff can be a grouch and a major PITA, BUT...he never does anything dangerous and when I came off from him (1 time in 7 years) he stood like a rock right beside me until my husband led him away to get to me. What's not to love??

Victor's quirkiness. I love it as much as I hate it. He's a major pain in the ****, but he can make me melt in a heartbeat. Little ****** knows it, too.
