That really sucks. Having been through the horse theft ordeal, I can totally sympathize with what they are going through, and it's not nice. :(
I hope they turn her up safe and sound.

I'm going to suggest a forum for this sort of thing.

I just contacted a friend of mine who was at that roping. Locally, they are scouring the area looking for that horse.

Seriously, Who steals a kid's horse?! I don't know about people these days, they make me sick! I am just disgusted by this... Pathetic. I hope they find her!

Thank you! I really Hope they find her.

I've gone through a similar situation. My show mare was stolen when I was 10. We even knew who took her and did all we could at the time, even hired a private investigator, took her to court, but were never able to recover our mare. The woman who stole her was fined a bunch of money; of which we never saw one red cent. Not sure where she is now, last I heard she was diagnosed as a schitzo. Even scarier is that this woman was related through marrage to us, I trained under her and showed with her son. I was at her house soemtimes three times a week as a kid training. Our mare was boarded at her house until one day she and the horses up and vanished- not long after we has sent our mare through emergency surgery for sand collic. Ok now I'm rambling/venting- sorry. I still get upset about it 17 years later.

RIP Logans Pleasure, you were truly great.

I heard a story about a young man that stole some cattle in Texas and took them to an auction. As he was picking up his check after they sold a Texas Ranger put his hand on his shoulder and said,"Boy, you would have been better off killing a man in Texas than stealing his cattle". This was in the 1980's and I would bet it's still true now. I hope the horse was branded and they find the horse.

I've read the story earlier today, and it's just complete bs (excuse my french). I mean, c'mon, go for saddles, bridles, etc. if you need to steal something, but not a live creature. And on top of it it belongs to little kid. That's just sick. I really REALLY hope that moron(s) will be caught and put in jail (and smacked coupe times good by people who find him/her/them).
