Titan pawed at the thick layer of snow before kneeling slowly down into it. The sun pushed its way through the gloomy, grey clouds. Titan shook, snow flying in every direction. He trudged through the pasture of snow. Titan stood by the water trough. He stared down at the thick ice in the big steel bowl, wishing Jessie would come break the ice soon.
The blue roan spooked as a deer jumped of the fence. He pranced back to the sheltered pen with his head held high. He positioned himself beside Sahara, the pretty black mare that stood in the paddock with the gentle arabian gelding. He began to scratch at her flanks, and calmly cocked his thick hoof.
