You would need to give us some idea of what you're looking for and what you want to do with him to get a more relevant critique.

I would guess he travels hollow and inverted as he lacks muscle along his topline; and that's a little unusual for a typical QH. They haven't done him any favors by the way they've stood him up for the photo.

If you want to compete in a discipline where the horse's way of going, roundness and head carriage are important, I'd say he has a strike or two against him.

He's also straightish in the shoulder, shortish in the pastern; so likely short strided.

If you're just looking for a pleasure and trail horse and you otherwise like him, then ignore what I've said and just consider his termperment and experience.

He has a kind and gentle eye, but I don't like the way his neck is thick at the throatlatch nor how it blends into his brisket.

I love his coloring, and the way his blaze comes down around his muzzle. Very cute. I do agree with Maura about the straight shoulder. I'm used to looking at gaited horses  He will have a very rough trot based on the angle (or lack) of that shoulder and hip.
If you're wanting him for trails or general riding, base your decision on his temperament not his looks.

He looks cute, but I agree with the posts about his straight shoulder and pasterns. He looks like he will have a short, choppy stride, which for pleasure/trail riding wouldn't really be a huge issue, but it wouldn't be good for competing. I also don't like how his neck and poll seem empty/ewe shaped. He doesn't look like he could round himself very easily.
