Okay here it goes. My friend trained her 1 year old dog in basics of agility. He's a mutt looks like some Doberman but has so much energy and loves it. So she didn't like it but I love it and my mom said I can buy the dog from her and do agility with him. So I was just wondering is there any good kinds of material to build the equipment out of? There's not an agility arena near me closest one is an hour.

My dad made me jumps out of PVC pipes... If you spray paint them, they look nice
I also have a little kit that we bought either at Walmart...? or a pet store? And It comes with a tunnel, a pause spot, weave poles, a jump, and a timer. Its really nice for practicing.

You can also make jumps out of wood planks, or chairs and brooms. Tunnels can be made out of long boxes that are open on each end. You can also make weave poles by using traffic cones, and if theyre the ones with the holes in the top, you can stick PVC poles in them. For a pause table, I just used a table that was sturdy and really short to the ground.

For other equip. like the A frame and seesaw thing... You can look up templates on the internet for how to build them. I've never actually tried, but there are some nice ones you can make and they range from easy-ish to hard.
