An afternoon at the barn with Zeus!

These are from Wednesday. It was a gorgeous day, int he 50's, blue sky, bright sun.
He looks so dark with his winter coat! But holy crud is it hard to get the dirt out of it. Fuzzy coat for FL.

The BO's dog, who's name always escapes me. She's super pretty, and HUGE.


Zoomed in from far away, looking intensely at a squirrel.


And away she goes! Also zoomed in from a distance.


Dog again, she was zooming around though, hard to get a decent picture of.


Zeus and Blitz. Taken from the barn, they were out in the back of the pasture.

Thanks you guys! I need to get someone out to take pictures during one of my lessons. We're both getting so much better! Today's lesson was fantastic, best we've ever had. I'm so happy with how much better our communication is getting under saddle. We've also started adding some jumping to our lessons (yes, with the dressage trainer) and improving our jumping as well. We did a lot of bending lines today and it kept him attentive, supple, and from getting too excited while jumping. Sorry for the blabbing, I'm just so pleased.

Oh, and did I mention he's doing really great in the snaffle?
Haven't had an issue or needed a reminder ride with a leverage bit in ages.

Thanks. I was bored so I took some stills of the first jump in the video.
Over jumped just a teeny bit I think, ha ha.
