Well, I'm a dog groomer and I much prefer wahl, I have 2 of the switchblades which I have used everyday for almost 2 years, no problems at all. I started off using an andis agc single speed and was not impressed at all. Also used the old ag2 from andis and didn't like them either. I used my switch blade to clip my mare last year and they worked great.

i bought these last winter and had to body shave my 17.3 warmblood. i had never shaved an animal before in my life... let alone shaving a HUGE horse. hahaha! My trainer was super proud of me because there were no lines! Trust me, it wasn't because i did a good job... it was because the blade kicks butt.
They are super quiet and stay cool for a pretty long time.

My problem with Andis is that I have to order the blades I need separately and that is kind of a pain in the butt.

I also have these and they are great! I especially love how quiet they are
