Adding some prayers onto yours.
I am so so sorry to hear that. That is such a horrible accident. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers. Hope all goes well for her.Hi all. My instructor messaged me late one Sunday afternoon (it was the afternoon of Badminton cross country) to say that there had been a horrible accident at the show today.
One of the ladies had been jumping of in the show. Her horse had a heart attack and on track and fell on top of her.
The horse sadly passed away at the scene. My friend was air lifted to hospital and is now in an induced coma with bleeding on the brain.
I had been there on the Saturday and they were riding dressage. Everything looked fine.
We are so worried as she has been in a coma for going on 3 weeks. It hits home for me having survived a head injury almost 3 years ago.
Not to upset anyone but we are praying.
She has been off sedation for about 5 days and hasn't woken up but she is showing some signs of movement. Apparently it can take up to 10 days to wake up.Updates?
Well, at least she is showing improvement and that's a good thing. She has been off sedation for about 5 days and hasn't woken up but she is showing some signs of movement. Apparently it can take up to 10 days to wake up.
SaddleLife she is in her 50's which doesn't make it easier.
