So, i'm on the queast for a new pair of boots. I want a pair that are a bit more western styled to wear campdrafting and just bombing around the trails.

I like these so far:

Ariat Women's Heritage Stockman:

Ariat Women's Heritage Western R-Toe:

Ariat Women's Heritage Roper:

*

I think I like the R-Toe best, But I also like the practical/workmanlike look of the ropers.

So let me know if you have any of these boots, or what your favourite Ariat boots are and why you love them. English as well, one I have the money I will be looking into a new pair of english boots too - I really like the insulated/waterproof boots they have.

I also really like the look of these for winter riding:

Ariat Women's Terrain H2o Roper Insulated:

And these boots are available in OZ but I can't find them on the Ariat website, so they must be outdated.

Don't know too much about the western style boots but I LOVE my Ariats. I currently have four pairs (Crownes, Performers, Heritage, and the Icebergs for winter). the leather is super high quality on all of their boots and they last forever. I have had my Crownes for five years now!

Ariat Women's Heritage Western R-Toe...I like those. I have Ariats and I love them. They are the most comfortable, tough, and ready for anything boots. I've had mine for 2 years and they have been through mud, water puddles, snow, everything and anything you can imagine and they do a great job keeping my feet warm and dry even though I don't think they are water proof.

Oooh Drew I am drooling over a pair of icebergs for winter! We would always joke about getting insulated boots, and never knew you actually could, lol!

Ariat Women's Terrain H2o Roper Insulated. I would personally go with these. They have a nice thick sole, wedge toe, nice heel, and are insulated and water resistant. They seem perfect for all around trail bumming.

Been a fan of Ariat since my early days in the farm store as a clothing/boot manager. They are a durable line that is comfortable to wear. I've always preferred a more rounded toe, so the last pair in your first post would be my pick, but that's because I hate the feel of a pointed toe on my foot (I have issues, lol).

Oh i agree - I much prefer a rounded toe. Hence all the one I picked don't have the super pointed toe or the square toe, ick!

I really like the ropers, and I think I might get a pair of the H2o ones for winter. I also like the plain ropers, but I also like the look of the longer boots. If I could find a picture of someone wearing the ropers it would help!

So I think i'll see if I can find a pair of the insulated ropers in OZ for winter, and then look into one of the other pais as 'show' boots for campdrafts and such.

^ Do you have a picture of you in them? I'm trying to picture how the shorter boots would look but having issues!
