I bought baby girl in March and the last owner didnt know when she breed back. She lad a colt end of last March 2011. Well she ended up sweating alot and ended up itching alot and causing sores. No matter what stuff i use to keep flies off it doesnt work. So considering buying fly sheets to help and give her some comfort. She is showing but not huge. She was also breed to small quarter horse anyway. She does have clear liquid coming out of her udders. I havent had her vet checked. Mostly what I have read on here most vets are off when it comes to due date. She is six year old quarter horse and this is her second foal. :) so anyone have any idea how to cure the summer itch. And how late can a mare foal during the year.

A mare can foal any time of year.

You need to have her vet checked, not just to estimate a due date but because she will need certain shots before she foals.

Sounds like she's due pretty soon if she already has stuff coming out of her udders. My mare has 3 more weeks to go before she's due and has nothing coming out of her udders yet.
