Barefoot Saddle Question

If you have a Barefoot Saddle, what's your opinion on it? Reading some reviews on it, I find that a lot of people say that you have to have good balance to ride in one. I have extremely good balance, as I do most of my riding bareback because I find the English saddles that I have a little uncomfortable.
The saddle would mainly used for trail riding and an occasional gallop here and there.

I don't have one but have heard many comments and read a bunch more.
Some love them, some don't.

What I have heard most though is you really must use the specific pad designated for that saddle for best results.
I think that would make a difference in stability, horses comfort and your safety.
