Ok, I'm the type of person that would rather invest in preventative/protection things than possibly pay for not using them later down the line.
Many people use protective boots when working with their horses, I have in the past myself used them and liked them.
My question is; If I wanted to get protective boots for my yearling what would be the best kind?
We haven’t started anything yet; but will be fairly soon. We will be doing very little lunging but I’m not against some minor lunging when done for a short period of time (walk/jog), and are we looking at mostly ponying him from another horse and working on showmanship/ground stuff with limited circle work.
All will be done for a short period of time, building as he gets fitter and older until I start riding him; which will depend on how he looks and matures over time.
What type of boots should I be looking at? What boots do you like/dislike and why?
Hmmm, this might get moved to Tack/Equipment
