Hello, right now Champ is on high quality grain which he is fine on but does he really need it? I have lots of alfalfa cubes can I just give him that instead? BTW, he ridden 3-4 times a week moderate work out.
Cubes? as in little squares of hay? Yes you can give that to horses instead of grain. Grain isn't really good for horses who are not in hard work. You can also give them the Alfalfa Pellets. My horses won't eat the cubes.. Big babies.
