Hello!
I recently bought a bottle of Excalibur to clean my mare`s udder but I wanted to know if you can use it to also clean underneath her tail?
I read the bottle hundreds of times but I didnt see a "yes" or "no"...
Any ideas? If not, what could I use to clean "there"?

From my understanding excalibur is mostly a minty smelling lube that helps loosen gunk. I personally wouldn't use up my bottle to clean under the tail.
To clean under their tails I just rinse with water and rub my hand on the bone to get rid of excess dirt. Or if i'm shampooing their tail getting some of the suds there then rinsing it.

I just use a sponge and soapy water when I bathe to clean under the tail.

Excalibur has some NASTY chemicals in it... Not on my bits, thankyouverymuch. Rinse.... And repeat. Rinse.... And repeat.

We've used baby wipes on our horses. Haven't had a reaction to them. Just got to warm them up a little before you start. Other wise, use warm water, mild soap and a rag.

Baby shampoo works wonders in those sensitive areas. It's fragerence free, soap free. Try that for cleaning your mares udders and her dock"

I wash my geldings anal area with a water-soaked wash cloth, pat dry with a couple paper towels, then spray with a little Vetericyn.

I don't see why that won't work with mares

When we were getting mares ready to breed, we would use diluted Betadine surgical scrub and use the back of our gloved hand to scrub gently underneath to clean. Then rinse with warm water.
