I just got a brand new billy cook barrel saddle, and I'm a little nervous to clean it. My past saddles were very low maintenence (synthetics, courbette magic) so I'm not familiar with leather cleaners and stuff. I was wondering, is there stuff like scotch guard you can put on roughout and suede? Also, is there things to clean and treat leather that won't change the colour? I don't want to darken it if I can.

I've tried something by bickmore for my bridle once, and it said it causes cancer and birth defects? Do al of them do that?

I guess i havent read that part of the bottle :/ So Im not too sure on that one. But I guess I cant say personally for me I wouldnt stop using it. I will just wear rubber gloves now.
