What's the smallest horseback riding helmet available? I'm thinking toddler-age helmet.

Baby Q will be here in March and as soon as she's able to balance herself, I'd like to get her horseback. However, I do want her in a helmet.

I've searched, but to no avail...

ETA: I really don't care if you think that's too young for a child to ride. Most people disagree with me horseback riding while pregnant as well. Obviously I am not going to toss her horseback and send her on her way. What I mainly plan to do until she's old enough is to lead Java around while she's aboard him and I am standing next to her (not next to Java's head).

Ugh. I have a strong dislike for helmet manufacturers. Most will not make a helmet to fit a child under the age of 8 properly. Their reasoning is that children under 8 do not have the attention span to ride a horse - well, that and they don't want the lawsuits pertaining to "my very young child fell off and has brain damage and your helmet did it!"
Anyways, most "major" helmet manufacturers don't make helmets for teeny little heads - which I think is ridiculous, myself... but who am I to say?
The one helmet I have seen that seems to come in very small sizes is this one:
Aegis Pony Schooling Helmet - Dover Saddlery.
But even it is suggested for heads with a 19" circumference.
My best suggestion is to take a measurement of Baby Q's head when you think she is old enough to start riding, and go from there.

This is all that I've found. I don't know if this would be too large or not. So if you have experience in child helmets, please respond!
I actually have the helmet that you linked to. I purchased it for my 3 year old daughter, but it turned out to be too small for her head....she's average size. It has the dial in the back for adjustment.

It has been worn no more than 3 times, and no more than 20 min. each time. If you are interested in it, I am willing to sell it for $20.00. I can email photos to you if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't see Baby Q riding for quite some time. She still has two months left of cooking to do before she arrives in this world! ;)

I have to wait until she's able to sit herself up there without me holding on before we can go any further.

But that's good to know that it's too small for a three year old. Thanks!
