Cleaning your horse boots?

975 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Saddlebag
I have a plethora of horse boots and I'm curious how one might clean them, as some are getting quite dirty. These are the main 2 that need cleaning though:

Neoprene sports medicine boots
Fleece lined dressage boots (which are white and super dirty!)

I'm fairly sure the sports boots can't go in the washing machine but I'm not sure about the dressage boots. Thanks for any tips!

I stick anything washable in the machine and then air dry.
If the dressage boots are leather then wash the fleece side under a tap and sponge the outside over and air dry. Use some leather treatment on it once they're dry
If you can hang them up they dry faster
