I know a lot people say you can get just as good of a pad for less money, well....

I have been working on finding a saddle that fits my mare for an ongoing 2 1/2 years at least. I now have and a-fork mule saddle that works very well on her but her shoulders still hit. I have come to the conclusion there is now way around this. Every saddle that has been on her back her shoulders hit. So, with the Clinton Anderson pad sense it has that "hole" for the pressure release shouldn't this help minimalize the the discomfort?

I found one like new for fairly cheap, so I bought. Its leather top but closed cell foam bottom. I'm not sure I like the foam bottom but if the pad works I will just buy a felt one instead.
