Colic surgery scar??

Hi, y'all!
So I just bought a mare a bit ago and did a full vet check. I recently happened to see under her belly that there is a hairless line, it's about over a foot long, and it almost looks like a colic surgery scar to me.
I was not informed about any colic history so I'm hoping it's just a part of her, but it really looks like there was an incision done there. She is 10 and has been passed around a bit so her history is not super straight.
Just wondering if you guys could give me your opinion on the photos, and is there anything I should be doing care-wise to make sure she doesn't have colic again? I have heard that they are more susceptible to colic once they have had it before especially if it was so bad that she needed surgery.
Thanks, everyone!

Yay! Glad to hear it’s normal. I’ll definitely try that this summer. I thought it looked odd because my other grey doesn’t have it as pronounced ( here is a pic of him) and the mare feels a little bumpy in that line. Maybe just dirt though

@CasperE1: We're in Florida and our horse loves laying in his sand craters. The bugs of course love going right to the area that's full on pressed down into the ground. Every morning when I go into feed, I take a look underneath his belly and clean anything off it looks a little dirty or scabby. I don't do anything crazy... I usually take a 4x4 gauze with a little bit of saline and blot it. And then I do a quick spray of leave-in antifungal antibacterial stuff that we use and he's good to go. If I do it every day or every other day, that will help encourage the hair to grow back and it keeps the area fairly smooth.

I forgot about this thread. I'll try to take a picture of my mares belly tomorrow. I don't know if she has a scar from her colic surgery or not but I'll post it so you can see what it looks like.
