Not sure if this is the right place.. But anyway..
I have a turquoise colored show pad which looks great on my bay POA. It looks like this (please ignore the awkward pic and gaudy lime green sport boots, we won't be wearing those! lol!):

I just bought a light pink and white show shirt (impulse buy) on clearance that matches my hat (tan with pink accents) perfectly.
Is it frowned upon to mix colors like that in the show ring? :? Do you think it'll look ok? :-|
I promise, I'm not color blind. I just can't decide whether it's decent or terrible...

Me, I don't show Western, so take this with a grain of salt.

Your horse is small and that large , solid pad accentuates how small he is. I would buy a patterned Navajo, with some vertical lines to help make your horse look taller and to not make the saddle "pop" off the background.

So, some kind of navajo with brown/black/pink might be nice.

That's my thought.

You definitely need to fold the pad under at the front, because right now it is waaay too big. Needs to not go more than an inch or so behind the saddle.

Mixing colors can be difficult. Consult a color wheel. You usually go with either complimentary colors (colors right next to each other) or contrasting colors (colors opposite each other). Complimentary to turquoise is either a darker or lighter blue, with sand accents. A good contrasting color for turquoise would either be a salmon, rust, or off-orange color.

Unfortunately pink and turquoise is not a fashion statement I would personally make. If you like the pink, I would find a navajo pad with complimentary colors.

I was going to have my grandma cut it and sew the cut part so it doesn't fray or whatever.
I don't like the pink enough to change the pad color, so I'll just find a different show shirt.
