Alright guys I've been really working on my sitting trot lately and I've made a lot of improvement from where I started from. Recently when I was riding my Arabian I noticed the feeling where my abs were really engaging when I asked him to move a little more. I've always had a "wavy gravy" back when I've sat the trot and I feel like I've been improving on that quite a bit. :) So in short watch the video and comment. Please note: I'm currently riding intro and low training on my Arabian. This is also my project pony( he's a lesson pony who is pretty clueless on going/staying round and carrying himself so were working....personally I think he's the cutest thing ^-^)

Could use more forward and impulsion to get rid of you feeling like you have to "pump" every stride with your seat. But otherwise your sitting trot looks quite good - time for a bouncier horse!! :p

Thank you! Bert is a little on the lazy side...I guess that's his draft side coming out! I worded it funny in my original post but the horse in the video is Bert, my project pony/lesson horse, and Laddy is my Arabian who I ride most of the time. I will say that Laddy's trot is more forward and is a lot more action then Bert's so working with Laddy has helped a lot! :) I need to get a video of him soon! Thank you for your comment!!
