Can you please critique this horse’s conformation and movement? She's 16 months and a Quarter Horse X Morgan (Registered as a Partbred Morgan).

I'd like to do lots of schooling shows (Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Halter etc.) and possibly some jumping and a bit of dressage with her. What do you think?

Thanks!

The only downsides I saw to her was that she is pigeon toed so her front legs point out slightly, her hind legs are a little close together, and she is downhill. Now since she is so young she should even out one shes about 4 so she wont be as downhill. For the hind legs i would just put splint boots on her back legs while jumping just to protect them. My thoroughbred has this and he goes fine with the boots on, he is eventing now and has jumped up to 3' with the potential to go much higher. I really like her movement, I like her suspension in her trot and it will get you nice scores in dressage. I dont know much about showmanship and such so I cant tell you much there but I think she will be a nice horse for you. I loove her color too by the way:)

I think you mean toed out. Pigeon toes turn in
As for the filly, i think she has a rather nice build. Her back legs are sort of close and somewhat cowhocked but nothing glaringly obvious. I think she'll be smart looking once she fills out and adds some height to even up her bum:)

She's toed out, but it looks like someones trimming her and making her toes look turned in... Maybe it's just me, but her inside toe is longer then the outside?

Other then that I think her hindquarters are small(ish)...

She's pretty though.

I think she's going to be dandy! Her shoulder angle is good, and her hocks look fine. Yes a tad narrow, but I think that will change a bit. I think she's going to be a really nice all around horse.
