I've never put up a critique thread and I'm kinda hesitant to do so because I think so many good things of my boy I don't want them all washed down the drain if he's kinda crappy. But I'm letting you guys attack his conformation anyways. Keep in mind he is a Fjord crossed with an Arabian. No you can't see the Arabian but its in him anyways.

P.S. He needs a show name too. Barn name is Ben {doesn't need to be in show name}

Ps. Don't let what anyone says about him diminish the way you feel about him. Who cares if someone else doesn't think he's perfect. It only matters if he's perfect TO YOU.

For starters he's really, really, is out of shape and fat. Other than that I'm not familiar enough with the breeds.

The only thing that really sticks out at me is that his back seems really long. I can see the Arab in his butt, his croup is really long and flat. It looks like he might be a touch cow-hocked in the back but other than that, he is adorable.

Thanks guys! yes he is fat, we're working on that but I have no arena at the moment, only snow that comes up to his knees/belly.
Yes I have noticed his back is kinda long too. Don't know much about being cow hocked to really see it but he's never been lame and has smooth gaits.
My mom has mentioned a sorta Arab butt to. When he gets excited you can kinda, sorta see it in his face also.

Fjord and Arab... Wow, I wonder what made them interested in doing that LOL

He does look quite araby through his body, but the rest is certainly fjord! He is quite cowhocked, and maybe just a tick over at the knee. I agree with the above that he is also quite long in the back.

Thanks. The arena there is kinda slanted because the ground isn't flat. don't know if that affects your guy's decisions at all.
