Hey guys,
I really need your help on my leg position. My leg tends to slide a tad too far forward, its right at the girth. I dont know how not to grip with your calf to keep your leg their. Can someone tell me how I can not grip, but keep my leg in a correct position. My horse is a very thin appy so it's very hard to keep my leg still.

I have the same problem! The TB I ride is also very slim. Unfortunately I don't have any magic trick...because I could really use one. My legs aren't perfect but they are getting better. I guess it just like learning to keep your heels down, you have to work at it until it becomes habit.

Keep your feet parallel to the ground, and try to find your balance, if your leg goes too much forwards, you might be a bit too back with your upper body.

It is all about finding the balance point on the horse.. and relaxing.. let your legs drip from your hips.. riding without stirrups should help, or so they say..
