As some of you may know I now have a job at a local show barn. I clean 25ish stalls every weekend and that pays off my board! Problem is its eight hours every weekend meaning my show season will clash so I am going to work the Fridays that I get off schoolbut I am worried that I wont work enough to pay(I also have spring break which is 2 weeks) off at least 2/3 of board:-(...
I have around 10-15 shows this year so obvisouly they use up the weekends.What should I do? And this coming Sunday I am moving my horse to this barn. But how do I tell the old BO without sounding rude??
Last question I will post this in the riding form...
Really this is all good news I have been needing a job and a new place to board but a couple questions come with it.

You may need to sacrifice a few shows to work. I work every weekend, saturday and sunday all day and often will work 7 days a week. It is difficult for me to take sundays off to compete, so I rarely do. Even though I'd like to go out more, I can't because I have to work to afford my horse. When I do take the day off, It is for a big competition.
You have to make sacrifices to keep and gain the things you love unfortunately, that is the way of the world and you'll just have to get used to it, as after you leave school time because even shorter.

If you need the work to pay your board, you will need to talk to the BO. Maybe some other hours can be worked out and maybe not.
