That's awesome! Sorting is so fun and so addicting! The horses love it too!

The best advice I've ever received for sorting, is this: "Slow is smooth and smooth is fast."

Good advice! my friend that I was going to go with cancelled on me, so now i'm torn. I really badly want to go, but I won't know anyone and my mare and I both have zero experience. Its only $5 a run though so thats hard to beat for the experience...

Go. You won't regret it. If anything your mare can get some good experience standing around the cattle and such.

I've gone to sortings by myself a few times. Each time I met new people to ride with and had a great time.
