so trying to buy a bridle from Dover. Found one I like but it has a crank noseband. I can't tell if the are allowed by USEF, as it says you must use a normal cavesson and not an "unconventional" one. However I cannot tell if a crank would be unconventional as long as I follow the two finger rule. Anyone know?

Cranks are allowed, I actually prefer a crank. I think most horses find them to be more comfortable. the other tends to rub certain horses and the crank seem to pinch less if properly set.
