I'm sorry I don't have pictures of him without tack. Two of them were taken by the owner/her family and one was taken by me after she rode him for me.

I can tell you that after looking at him, he doesn't have hugely prominent withers like many TBs have.

Is there anything you guys can see even with his tack on? Thanks! If I do buy him, I would train him to jump. He needs a little more weight and muscling, of course.

I actually really like him. Surprisingly, he doesn't have a lot of the faults I see in OTTB's- he has short, well angled pasterns, a nicely sloped shoulder, nice short canons and decent bone. Good hip, too... I'm definitely interested in hearing what more experienced/ learned users on here have to say about him, but overall, I think he's nicely put together.

He is a little tied in below the knee and duck breasted, has the typical low set TB nick (the dip in the neck in front of the withers) but has a good hip and looks powerful. He needs more condition and muscle but you know that :) Topline will not be the easiest to build due to his neck but he looks a fab contender for his job.

Yup! Definitely getting a PPE done. I also got in touch with his previous owner/breeder and she told me upfront that he has an old bone chip. It's minor and the vet felt that extracting it would cause more harm than help. He left it alone and said to give the horse 6 months off and he would be good as gold for any discipline except racing. The x-rays and reports have since been sent to my vet for inspection and criticism. I've watched the current owner ride him twice and I rode him as well. He's smooth, not once did he look off even on uneven ground outside of the ring in an open field, and he just looked great overall. We'll see what my vet says though. I just know that most OTTBs are injured whether we know it or not but continue on to enjoyable careers.
