u look pretty good but try bending more in your hip area this will also allow you to straighten your back

Really cool pictures! Althought I'm tempted to be Mom and lecture for jumping without a helmet, I'll refrain... Just make sure your foot isn't sliding too far into the stirrup. You'll lose your ability to drop your weight into your heel for a more stable base. He's a super cute jumper, I love how his knees are in perfect alignment with each other!

i know i should but he's my schoolmaster so i have a 99.9% chance of not falling off-- i hate wearing a helmet when its so hot.... but your right-

yeah i need to replace my rubbers in the stirrups-thanks for reminding me- they've become dangerously slippery- i definately need to get that reach in my heel though- it has become a very bad habit of mine

You look like you're doing what I do when I jump - over-riding it ie getting ahead of the horse (you're in jumping position before he's started to take off) I have no idea what to do about it tho'

yes close the hip angle it will help with the ridge i used to have this problem and still do sometimes if i havent ridden in a long time

Its hard to tell because I'm not sure how many seconds are between each picture, but if the frames are back-to-back, try keeping your butt out of the tack a little longer. It looks like you're sitting down before he lands. Let him land before you sit and then he wont scoot out from under your tush to fast

Cool horse you kida have a chair seat in the canter. Try sitting in the front of your saddle. Then while jumping rock your hips back with your leg. Your a little hunched and your hands are on his neck. On the landing in the first set I think you slammed on his back. Hold the 2pt. more if you do it to much and if hes old it could end up a lond time thing....

Try to pull your leg under you more so you are on your plumb line. Also try to haave good posture. Also try to get off your horses neck so much in your two point.

You shouldnt be sitting back in the seat until his back feet land on the ground. Cool horse!

sorry i'm not trying to be rude- but how can i be on his neck when my hands are on either side of it? where am i on his neck? also, it could seem like that because i have white gloves on him and he's light coloured?

i have a bad habit of sitting back early over a fence- tips?
