I have a 3 yr old colt who has just been gelded about a month ago or more. Im starting to train him in a round pen and he does really well. The only problem I really have besides him takig a step toward me everytime I move or him rubbing me and lipping me is when Jackson is in the crossties.

The second I move out of site into the tack room he gets scared and tries to follow. He moves out of the washstall and a bit into the walkway. He tosses his head. He paws the gound. He prances. The crossties don't restrict him from moving at all but I can't have him doing that. A couple days ago my mom said he flipped over broke his halter and was running around outside. (scary b/c we live by a road that has a bit of traffic)

Tying him without crossties is not an option right now b/c he still has the temperment of a stud colt(hence why he rubs on me and takes a step toward me if I move away [aggravating]) I just want me baby to be safe and feel safe.

Thank you
Brittany
