That's a cute story but it was written tomorrow, so in the US, it hasn't happened yet.

Hey! My pony did something like that. Except he didn't pick up the snake. We were riding around my backyard and he stopped and kept sticking his head out towards it. I looked down and there is a baby snake in the middle of our yard when he should be hibernating! My Dad moved it around to see if it was a rattlesnake or a gopher snake. It was a gopher snake and it lives in an aquarium in our living room. :)

wow i cant beliave your pony did that ! very lucky he wasnt bitten ! Iam unsure what a gopher snake is sorry ! are they deadly ?

gopher snakes look like rattlesnakes but are not poisonous. He was far enough away so the little guy couldn't have bitten him anyways. :)

That's awesome. We had a percheron mare (john's original mate) get snakebit on her jaw a couple of years ago and even with vet care, she ended up passing away. That is one **** lucky dog.
