I am looking to have a custom bridle make, in the beta/biothane material. I want it made in the Dr. Cook's style and I want the noseband, browband and poll padded with PVC padding (the stuff that wintec girths are made out of).
I am located in BC Canada. Would anyone make one/know of someone who could? Thanks.

Hi hun:)

I may be able to help you:) Me and my husband are setting our business up at the moment making bespoke bridles and brow bands and eventually saddles.

In regards to biothane we have worked with it and oh boy is it hard to work with. But it looks really good and is easily looked after. Not only can you wash it down but it is also sweat resistant as well as being hard wearing. The only down side is biothane does not give like leather, it is very springy.

I am more than happy to send you a sample for you to look at. If you pm me your address i will post you some out today as well as a sheet giving you information on the different colours as well as styles.

Hope that helps

Have you tried to contact Nutty Saddler at this forum? I know he makes very nice leather tack, may be he does synthetic as well.
