I am trying to help spread the word of this horse for a friend.

Donovan is a registered arab gelding (AHA number 541572) however because of a dispute with the previous owner we do not have his papers.

Donovan was rescued out of the kill pen and is now looking for a person of his own. He is a very sweet and affectionate horse, always comes up for attention in the pasture, but is not pushy. Leads, loads, and ties. Since he came to the farm I have ridden him twice and the owner has ridden him once, I would say he needs an intermediate rider. I think he would make a very cute english show prospect with a little fine tuning. He did great in the arena, even with other horses acting silly around him, however he is jumpy on trail rides, I don't think he had ever been trail riding before we got him, so he would need some work to desensitize him to that.

Name: DA Donatelie
Born: April 13th 1997
Registered: yes but no papers
Height: 14.2-14.3
Color: gray
Gender: Gelding

Based on his face I think he is going to end up being flea-bitten too, but its hard to tell under all that winter fuzz! He is a very very sweet and affectionate horse, I will be sad to see him go.

Da Donatelie Arabian

found out something interesting today. Apparently Donovan is a product of Mr. Daniel Gainey's famous breeding program. Horses from these lines are known to be very sound with good legs, solid builds, and easy to train kind temperaments.
