Everyone says that she has a big head. I am wondering is there away that I can groom her mane to make her head look more proportional to her body? How do I build muscle up on her neck? I am really wanting to get serious about showing her next year but with these flaws that she has I am doubting that I can show her. How can I turn her into a show horse and make her good enough to show? Her head really isn't that big in person. You can look at the pics on the thread (What do you think that...) to look at the pics. These pics were taken back in the early spring too and she has changed quite a bit over the summer. I really do want to show her!

Here are pics of her. That I took today. There is not one of the behind her because the ones that I took were really blurry. I will have to take some more pics of the backend of her.

What do you want to show her in?
Is she broke yet?
Iv always been told that collection will build up muscles in the neck plus other areas. They carry themselves much better.

Her mane looks pretty short but shes so white its hard to tell, I don't know what the class requirements would be for showing.

I was thinking about western pleasure. I put a video up on my other thread about her. (What do you think that) there is a video of her moving around me can you tell me something about her movements? This is if you don't mind. Yes she is broke been broke for almost 2 years now. She is kind of on the slow way of moving. She doesn't really want to go fast but would rather go slow. I had to cut her mane to about 2 inches from the top of her neck because she had a lot of cockaburrs in it.

I just watched your video and looked at the pics in your album. If you are wanting to do western pleasure you are defiantly gonna have to work on headset and building more muscle all around.Maybe the western pleasure riders can speak up and give their opinion.

Trotting is a great way to build up muscle,Up and down hills, working circles, are a few that I can think of right now.Come up with a workout schedule,on the days you are unable to ride, longing is a good way to keep them from getting sore.

Looking at the last pic,she appears downhill which is making her whole body look outa proportion. Its going to take alot of work getting her into shape, and training her for the correct "jog,canter"...

Thanks for the link what do you think she would be best suited for? You said something about a horse workout so what kind of things should I be thinking about? What kind of exercises?

That last pic doesn't really help because she was also on a slope when I took that pic.
