Just looking for some feed back. Someone has recommended that as a fairly small club in a northern community we all de-louce our horses this spring at the same time even though there has been no signs of any having lice.....any thoughts on this? I would think that using such a harsh chemical on a horse would only be done if necessary.......

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day:D

Lice are really not that common in horses so unless you are seeing evidence of lice on your horses, there is really no reason to just "delouse".

They can be common in this area but usually show up in the fall. Maybe I should contact a vet as I have not seen any signs on mine. I just really am not too fond of the idea of putting a harsh chemical on them if it's not warranted.
