Hi guys, last night we had some deer destroying our haylage, actually they ripped holes in 9 of our bales which is about $800 damage in our area.
They are stacked along a fence line but accessable to them.
Any idea what we could do to keep them away from it? We feed our haylage for the last 7 years and NEVER had a problem with deer damaging it and there is so much other stuff around, but NO, they have to wreck our nicely wrapped hay!
It is really getting frustrating and we have no solution for the problem. We cant really fence it in as this is not a cheap solution and we need to get to the bales on a daily basis with our tractor.
Somebody suggested to spray some stuff like (cugar pee) or something around the bales???
Anybody has the same problem and maybe an easy and cheap solution?
Thanks so much.
