My vet recomends that I deworm twice a year (once in the spring, once in the fall). One should have Ivermectin or moxidectin, and at least one needs to have praziquantal.

I was wondering what your favorite, most trusted, or best valued dewormer brand is, that contains these?

I have been using bimectin and exodus. But I am looking for a change because I do not want him to become immune to them.
I know bimectine is Ivermectine, and exodus is Pyrantel Pamoate. I am unsure whether either of these contain praziquantal.

I have googled praziquantal and have found equimax, and zimecrine. Has anybody heard of/used these brands?

I also found Quest Plus and I did use it a couple of years ago, but I find it expensive.

Exodus does not contain praziquantel and pyrantel is not combined with praziquantel under any name for deworming horses.

Bimectin doesn't contain praziquantel.

Equimax and Zimectrin Gold are both ivermectin/praziquantel. Quest Plus is the only moxidectin/praziquantel product currently on the market. You should ceck the label of any product you start to purchase as it will list the active ingredients.

I assume that you meant that your vet recommended that you deworm with either ivermectin or moxidectin in the spring and then again in the fall. You do not want to be using pyrantel or fenbendazole as either your spring or fall deworming as they do not treat bots.
