You all have been great helping me out in the past. I'm looking for a synthetic trail saddle like an Abetta for a high withered QH (see pics). I had purchased a used leather roping saddle a few weeks ago only to return it because I only had a 1 finger clearance in the gullet. It measured about 7 1/2" across, which seemed to fit ok. There's no saddle stores around me so I'll have to order one online.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should look for....such as full QH bars or semi QH bars by looking at these pics? Plus, I've read somewhere about a "gaited" Abetta saddle having higher clearance at the withers.....???? I was looking at an Abetta Brushpopper or Pathfinder but I'm open to all suggestions.
