Does an Abetta saddle fit high withers?

Hi,
You all have been great helping me out in the past. I'm looking for a synthetic trail saddle like an Abetta for a high withered QH (see pics). I had purchased a used leather roping saddle a few weeks ago only to return it because I only had a 1 finger clearance in the gullet. It measured about 7 1/2" across, which seemed to fit ok. There's no saddle stores around me so I'll have to order one online.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should look for....such as full QH bars or semi QH bars by looking at these pics? Plus, I've read somewhere about a "gaited" Abetta saddle having higher clearance at the withers.....???? I was looking at an Abetta Brushpopper or Pathfinder but I'm open to all suggestions. :)

Thanks for the templates. He is a medium. I ended up buying a Big Horn Cordura saddle that seems to fit good with a couple of fingers over those withers.

Now I need a saddle pad. By looking at those photos above, do you think he'd be a good candidate for a contoured pad like this Diamond Wool Contour Felt Ranch pad or a straight cut-out pad like this Big Horn Tuffy Cut Back pad http://www.horsesaddleshop.com/cutback-saddle-pad1.html??

I'd like to stick to wool over the tacky too pads but I don't want to spend over $100 for a pad either. I like Diamond wool but I wish it came with patterns. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
