My mare recently foundered and has developed a mild coffin bone rotation.
The farrier has been out and she has been through 2 courses of drugs prescribed by the vet but is still recovering, so I am looking into therapy boots for her.
Does anyone have experience with the EASY BOOT CLOUD or the SOFT RIDE boots?
And if so, which one would you recommend and why?
Are there any downsides to either?
How do they hold up under 24 hour use?
She's not moving very fast these days, so they wont be put under a lot of strain.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thankyou!

It may come down to which boot fits your horse the best:)

I never used the Soft Rides but I love the Clouds, mainly because of the insert they come with. I used them on my foundered horse off/on for a couple of years.

Boots should not be left on 24/7. The hooves need some breathing time, hopefully in a stall with shavings.

The insides of the boots and the inserts should also be cleaned after every wearing to get rid of the gunk and avoid bacteria/fungal build up. I used Dawn Dish Soap, hot water and a small scrub brush, then turned them upside down to dry overnight.

I also have EasyBoot’s “RX” therapy boot. I like those equally as well as the Clouds. They aren’t quite as cumbersome on the horse as the Clouds.

Hope this helps:)
