Picked up this saddle today. Does anyone know anything about El Dorado saddles? It's a nice solid saddle but I can't seem to find any information about them.

I have never heard of that make. it does look like a nice saddle. I think it is a show saddle, what with the "silver" on it. looks a bit like my Billy Cook show saddle.

Never heard of them, but does look to be a nice saddle. I like the turned fenders.

It was a brand I've only seen in catalogs from Libertyville Saddle Shop in Illinios. But that store went out of business 2 years ago or so. The contents that were leftover were all bought by Horseloverz.

The El Dorados looked like a decent saddle. Probably equivalent to a midrange TexTan or Circle Y of the late '80s and early '90s. That one is probably '90s as evidenced by the silver tips with the conchos, the lighter color, and the smooth jockeys and fenders. I think most of that line sold for under $1000 but that bought much more saddle back then than now.
