Everyone is different, so you'll get a variety of responses. I like sheepskin, and one that is not just on the very top of the seat area , but comes down the seat (under your thigh) a bit. my friends love gel.

 

I love the Christ Lammfelle/Horsedream lamb skin. I’ve ridden about 1100 miles in this and it’s wonderful! I managed to get my riding buddy hooked on it as well, and she won’t ride without it.

 

I liked the one thinline sent by accident but I lovd it more now that my child put his aussie lambskin over the top.

 

Western, but I'm noticing a trend...and slick leather is slick leather. I refer to it as "butt velcro" but that might be too earthy a term for the English riding world. 🤠
