Estate Auction Saddle

We just recently purchased an "American" saddle, stamped number "250" on it. I saw an article a few years ago
on here from someone who also had an American saddle but it didn't really say where or who made the saddle. It
belonged to my best friend's dad who recently passed and this was purchased at his estate sale. I am not familiar
with this, this is the first time I have seen this saddle so I'm curious to what I can find out about it. This is a family
heirloom piece, but a little back history with it would be great to have. Any help here would be greatly
appreciated thank you!
