ive been teaching my horse to jump, she really loves to jump and has been doing better at flexing and rounding her back because of the english riding ive been doing with her,(i usually ride western) she has good form over the jumps the problem is me. i just dont have enough confidence to ride her over the jumps. im getting riding lessons with her but my question is that can any breed of horse jump? she is a tn walker mix. she is 15 hh and has really long legs, she isnt the best at conformation and someone told me that she has a little gait to her because of the way she moves her legs in a diffrent way then the other horses but ive never felt her gait. she moves her legs kinda outward and then forward. can she be taught to extend? ive been doing ground poles with her but she doesnt extend like she should. when i get enough money im going to send her to a trainer but what can i do until then?im planning on lounging her over the jumps when the weather gets better.thnx

My first horse was a Tn. Walker/Thoroughbred. My friend ended up buying her off of me. They mainly do jumping. I will attach a few pictures. l_3be2fd526a90497eacb2e1d47f8b4c03.jpg

Rosie, the horse, is super fat and doesnt have the best confo. but she does have the heart to do anything, and just loves jumping.

Please Note: Not me riding, not my horse.
