Just to be on the safe side, I figured I should ask if Remission is something a horse can become immune to/have not work as well over time...
I assume not but I wouldn't want to assume wrong.
Basically, I've had Lacey on Remission since August-ish and it's been wonderful. Her weight has been more stable [about a perfect 4-4.5 on the H-scale] than I've ever seen [usually she's obese-obese in the summer, in the winter seems to fluctuate on a weekly basis between fat-ish and a little thin] and I'm just all around really pleased. Her neck sill has a small crest but that's ok, I kinda like the way it looks.
Anyway, now that we're almost to the middle of winter here, I'm not sure if I should take her off the Remission in order to preserve it's effect for when the grass starts growing again..or can I just keep feeding it?
She is getting the full dose just because so far I haven't seen anything but good things with that dose [why mess with a good thing and all that]...but I could decrease the dosage as well.
Thanks!
