Fly mask issues

My horse tore about a 4 inch tear in her fly mask, and through the fluff too. Duct tape has not worked. any tips on how to fix it? Thanks! :neutral:

I would buy a new one.
I've sewn back small holes, but not that big.
One of our horses seems to have a knack in ripping his fly mask, it can get very annoying.
