Hi, i have got a 6mth old welsh sec A. He's great, but have noticed when i take him out walking, half way through he blows his nose and clear mucus comes out. He doesnt have trouble breathing etc and is fine whilst doing this a couple of times?
He hasnt a cough or anything, wondered if the hay dust was effecting him?
Please if anyone could shed any light on this is would appreciate it.

could be just allergies. Check his temperature to make sure he's not running a fever.

I think horses just do that when they exercise. Just call your vet and ask.

If it is clear and not green then talk to your vet but it sounds like he is not sick. My 3 year old does that when I ride her a lot. If it eating good and drinking good. If no fever I say that you are alright.
