So Yes! Our horsie camp outs are back..

Although this one is bigger AND better! As now Jalah can actually ride Pumpkin with us! So I decided to ride Chinga rather then using my horse float.. once again. So I thought If I rode down the trail it would come out the other side... it didn't. So after riding all the way down the trail I had to turn back and start again, going right around. So after a nice trail ride we headed along. Finally making it to Jalah's after having a nice ride across the feild ((popping in a canter because he was SPECTACULAR!)) . So I untacked Chinga and put him out to graze with Pumpkin. They were still best friends :D After one "tiny!" argument they settled in nicely, Pumpkin got a tad close, Chinga went to kick out (Ninja horse!) at Pumpkin. Luckily he missed and sqealed like Pumpkin had bitten him.. oh how I love my pony !

So then, we took them for a walk over to the park and there was the dam, so I decided to lead Chinga in (we just had halters on them) and I was walking him in and he splashed me.. covering me in dark black mud.. so after letting them graze for a bit. We went back, put the "ponies" out and let them chill while we hand washed my jods :D. So.. after causing more trouble, we set up the tent, collected fire wood and went for a ride. Resulting in Chinga being awesome pony (as usual). Actually he was quiet well behaved, not perfected. But he had manners. It also resulted in Jalah falling off, complete accident but my fingers hurt to explain, and we have to go to bed in 5 minutes...

So then as a treat for being such good ponies, we took them back to the park for another chillax and swimming session for Chinga.. This time I was mounted bareback.. on the way there I took Chinga up/down a rather large.. and tree covered hill. Then getting him to canter up the hill (Best fun ever ) and trotting down part and cantering across the bottom, almost galloping! I am certain I will gallop tomorow - first ever close to gallop bareback. Then I took Chinga swiming, a tad deap in some places. Pumpkin got sent home for being naughty.. so it resulted in, girls being girls and getting covered in mud.. Me attempting to jump off Chinga and half sliding/falling off. I got Chinga in the water up to his chest! I was so proud because there was no other horses in the water and he completely trusted me to go in -- he use to hate water.

So tomorows goals are to get the ponies swimming together AND for me to gallop bareback. Overall an amazing day !
