So I have two rescues here that will be getting their teeth floated this Saturday. Thought it would be fun to see how close everyone gets to guessing the age based only on the Galvaynes Groove. No need to go off and rant about difference in wear, feed, circumstances or how stars/cups etc need to be seen.

Taking guesses on Galvaynes Groove only, it was hard enough getting these guys to stand still for these pics ;) I’ll post Equine Dentists/Vets estimate after.

Top two pics are a mare bottom two a gelding

@AragoASB, LOL.

I don't think by the length and angle of the teeth the horses can be anywhere near 20. Maybe the staining on the teeth is making a photo illusion and Galvayne's groove is near the top of the teeth, putting the gelding around maybe 10-11 and the mare at around 13.
