Im looking into getting a horse sometime next year (It will be my first horse and I have been riding for the past 9 years and attending horse work shops etc). I would love to get into competing at local shows and was wondering if you horse owners had any advice, tips and what not on general horse health, care etc that I may have missed during my lessons or work shops and if you can compete on a horse that will be at grass 24/7 or whether you can only compete with horses if you have the use of a stable?
