I don't ride western at all but that looks incredibly uncomfortable for the horse. :?

I don't ride English, but I think that it looks uncomfortable for the horse  It's all in context.

As to the horse, I like his trot, but I'm not sure about the little half lope thing he had going on there. He held his head great for the trot. But I only did walk/ trot when I showed WP.

There's another video of him-- yeah, I think his lope could do with some work.

I like him a lot. Unlike so many WP horses that look half lame, this one still has some swing in his back and some elevation in his trot. He looks supple and healthy. I wish they'e let him move out just a tiny bit more and not bump his head down so far. If you were allowed to move a tiny bit more, he'd be great.

I really like him. He'd be aawesom HUS, too.

He is still fairly green and needs a bit of work on his consistency. He travels nice, his jog is nice, but his lope needs work. He doesn't have the balance or strength to go as slow as they are asking for in the lope and that's what's causing that ugly head-bob. If you allowed him to get some more impulsion, he would look a lot smoother, more comfortable, and more natural. I really like where his head is at when the guy isn't popping him on the face. That horse has some real potential to be a very nice horse and appears to have a decent enough start that he could be good with some tweaking and a lot more miles. I don't know if $5500 is a reasonable price because I don't know what other show horses on par with him are going for, but if he doesn't have any serious quirks or vices, he might be worth it.

other then that lope, i agree he looks like he has alot of potential. I like his jog, and i like his head set. The lope looks really...... forced and un natural. Most likely because of how slow there asking for it. he could be worth it if your willing to put the work into him. he's a younging so you can mold him to your likeing quite nicely lol (not that older horses cant be changed but i think its easier with greener horses... not that im a professinal or anything)
